Combining two unlike ingredients that so effortlessly intertwine together; neither the lemon or the lavender over powering the dish. Serve this as a main meal or as an appetizer on a skewer. Pair it with the 2017 Dry Riesling.
Ingredients
  • 2 tsps dried lavender, crushed
  • 1 Zest of lemon
  • 4 tsps Olive oil
  • 1 Juice of a lemon
  • 4 tsps Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Sprigs of Thyme
  • 1 Free Range Chicken, cut into pieces
Directions

Combine the first 7 ingredients to make the marinade. Pour the chicken marinate and let marnitate for 2-4 hours. Roast in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serve with the cooking juices.
