Coming from Ravines two estate vineyards on Seneca Lake, the 16 Falls Vineyard (east side) and White Springs Vineyard (west side).

The 2020 vintage is a vibrant and elegant single vineyard Pinot Noir that will make a believer of any Pinot Noir fan, not aware of the world-class potential for this varietal in the Finger Lakes.

The wine has a glowing, garnet and burgundy color, along with a dense, lifted nose of herbs, mint, cloves, orange zest and dried rhubarb. Taught acidity melds with juicy strawberry, white pepper and craisins, culminating in a long complex finish. This is already delicious but will continue to improve and gain complexity with age.

From the steep sloping Two Gorges Vineyard (formerly known as the Glen Eldridge Vineyard) that falls sharply into the waters of Seneca Lake. A robust and structured, cool-climate Merlot with black cherries, ripe plum, earth and spice. The depth of the nose and big tannins on the palate point to a very age worthy wine, but the drinkability in its youth is noticeable and inviting with air.   

Gorgeously textured and lifted with red fruits, spice, earth and fine-grained tannins. 69% Cabernet Sauvignon and 31% Merlot (100% estate fruit) from our White Springs and 16 Falls Vineyards on Seneca lake.
