From the old vines of the steep sloping Two Gorges Vineyard (formerly known as the Glen Eldridge Vineyard) that falls right into the waters of Seneca Lake. A beautiful purple hue in color, the core of this wine is blackberries, black cherries, earth and spice. A true cool climate Merlot, that harkens a domestic, mountain Merlot crossed with a fine Pomerol from Bordeaux. With robust acidity and tannins, this is a wonderful vintage to drink over the next 10 - 15 years.
