Reviewer Mark Squires from The Wine Advocate wrote in June 2019 after traveling through the region that, "there is another fine white grape in the region, though. After Riesling, the best white grape is Gewürztraminer." While this varietal is often stigmatized, the Ravines 2017 expression is everything that makes this grape wonderful. A beautiful food wine, with zesty acidity, complex floral notes and a bright, clean, and dry finish. When you let this evolve in your glass, the dynamic lychee and kumquat aromas stay balanced and energetic through the mid-palate, providing a thirst-quenching and spicy finish.
