The Tasting Table October 25

A casual midday farm table experience with Ravines sparkling wine, a cellar tour, food and wine. Each group of attendees will enjoy wine and food while socially distanced from any other group. 

$50 pp, gratuity not included

*The Tasting Table is a set menu, using all local, seasonal ingredients. There will be a vegetarian option available as a substitute that you may request in the order notes when you purchase tickets. Our sincere apologies that we will not be able to accommodate additional dietary requests.

Explore the history of Finger Lakes wine region, winemaking at Ravines and the pleasure of food and wine pairings during midday weekend Tasting Table experiences at our Geneva Tasting Room.

Guests gather in our renovated, turn-of-the-century barn to enjoy a savory amuse-bouche with a sample of Ravines’ 2012 methode champenoise sparkling wine, aged en tirage for seven years before being hand-riddled and finished with disgorgement and dosage. You are then led by one of our warm and knowledgeable hosts to the wine cellar to learn about the centuries-old methods of champagne wine making that we use to make our sparkling wines. 

While in the cellar, enjoy a sample of one of our acclaimed red wines from wooden European casks as our wine steward guides you through the process of wine making and barrel aging. Guests then return to the barn for a food and wine pairing at our antique farm table where they enjoy our best wines with a Grazing Slate of savory, seasonal bites.
